V-Day Origami

Apologies, everyone! I've been so distracted by my Valentine's origami. :3 I'm making hearts and letters for all my friends, and it's taking me awhile. But I've also made a lot of cranes, so I should update soon. <3

Wings of Hope

This is a 1000 Crane Blog, based partially on the true story of Sadako Sasaki. In Japan, there is a legend that if you make 1000 cranes, you get a wish. Sadoko wanted to be cured of her leukemia, which was caused by the atomic bombing of Hiroshima, Japan. She only made 644 before she died, but her friends completed the project and buried 1000 cranes with her. My twist is this: I am attempting to make 1000 cranes for 1000 people who are fighting illness. My wish is to make an impact on the world from my bed!
